How to Factory Reset your Router (Forgot wifi Password) :
If you changed your default username and password, and have forgotten the new one then you can factory reset your router. By resetting the router to its factory settings, the default id and password will be restored and you’ll be good to go!
Locate a very tiny hole in your router. (As shown below)
Use a pin (your iPhone’s pin will work) and hold the button for ten seconds.
After some time, the default settings will be restored.
How to change wifi password:
To change the wifi password follow the steps mentioned below:
Log in to your router with the help of above mentioned IP addresses.
Use the default credentials to login.
Go to Setup -> Wireless Security.
Select Security mode (if you don’t know what you’re doing then leave it to default).
Edit your pre-shared key (This is the wifi password).
Go to management and select Reboot.
Wait for the process to complete.
Congrats, you’ve successfully changed your wifi’s password.
What can be done with 192.168.1.1?
